Off-the-shelf fleet platforms stop working when your operation gets complex.

Samsara, Verizon Connect, and Geotab cover the basics: GPS tracking, basic compliance logging, fuel reporting. They work well for fleets that run straightforward point-to-point operations. When your dispatch involves multi-stop dynamic routing, mixed asset types, contract-specific billing rules, or integration with customer portals, the platform runs out of configurability fast.

Compliance is the highest-cost area to get wrong. FMCSA Hours of Service, ELD mandate compliance, IFTA fuel tax reporting, DVIR requirements — each has specific data capture and reporting obligations. Platforms that weren't built with your specific fleet types and regulatory requirements in mind generate compliance gaps that surface in audits.

The real cost is in the operational data that platforms don't capture well. Driver behaviour scoring, predictive maintenance triggers, route profitability analysis, customer SLA tracking — this data exists in your fleet, but it's fragmented across the GPS platform, your TMS, your accounting system, and driver apps that don't talk to each other. Decisions that should be data-driven are made on gut feel.

Custom fleet software solves the integration problem by design. When the tracking system, dispatch workflow, driver portal, maintenance records, and billing data live in a single data model, the analytics are real — not dashboards assembled from four exports.

Running a fleet operation that's outgrown your current platform? Let's talk about what a purpose-built system looks like.

Fleet management software built on your operational data — not a platform's data model.

We start with your fleet composition, your dispatch model, and your compliance requirements. Mixed fleets (HGVs, vans, specialised equipment), multi-region operations, and contract-specific reporting rules are handled in the data model from day one — not worked around in configuration.

AI is included. Route optimisation that accounts for traffic, driver HOS remaining, vehicle load capacity, and delivery windows. Predictive maintenance triggers from telematics data. Driver behaviour scoring with coaching prompts. Fuel cost analytics with anomaly detection. Every AI feature is production-grade — not a dashboard add-on.

Senior engineers in India with a US office in Irvine, California. We've built operations platforms for companies managing 50 to 500+ assets — including the AI call quality system deployed across 50+ contact centre agents. Fleet operations management is the same class of problem: real-time data, complex rules, production AI.

What we build for fleet operations.

Vehicle tracking with real-time telemetry, geo-fencing, and asset utilisation reporting
Dispatch automation — dynamic route optimisation, multi-stop sequencing, driver assignment
Driver management — performance scoring, licence and certification tracking, coaching workflow
Maintenance scheduling — mileage-based and condition-based triggers, service history, cost tracking

We build for operations that run on real-time data and complex rules. Fleet management is the same engineering challenge.

Multi-role access control, real-time data processing, complex business rules, integration with legacy systems, production AI — these are the engineering problems we've solved across regulated industries for 8+ years.

AI in production operations: 50 to 80+ agents in 3 months

Situation: A growing operations team needed to scale quality assurance from 50 to 80+ agents without adding management headcount. Manual monitoring couldn't keep pace with growth, and quality consistency was slipping.

What we built: Custom AI-powered call quality monitoring with automated scoring, performance dashboards, and coaching workflows. The AI system processes every interaction, flags quality issues, and surfaces patterns — replacing manual review that would have required dedicated QA staff.

Tejas Networks: enterprise platform in a regulated environment

Situation: A publicly listed telecom equipment manufacturer ran multi-level purchase requisition approvals on paper forms. Physical sign-off at each tier. Finance and operations had no visibility into pending, approved, or blocked requests. Strict compliance requirements for audit trails and access control.

What we built: We built a purchase requisition platform with role-based approval chains, configurable escalation rules, real-time dashboards, and full audit trail on every transaction. Compliance-grade access control with department-level permissions and multi-tier approval workflows.

What we build for fleet and logistics operations.

Every fleet engagement is different. Here's the range of what we build — configured to your fleet composition, dispatch model, compliance requirements, and reporting needs.

Fleet Tracking and Telematics Platforms

Real-time vehicle tracking, geo-fence alerts, sensor data collection, and asset utilisation analytics. Integrates with existing GPS hardware or new telematics devices. Built for your asset types — not a generic vehicle template.

Dispatch and Route Optimisation

Dynamic routing with live traffic, driver availability, vehicle capacity, and delivery window constraints. Multi-stop optimisation at scale. Integrates with your customer-facing order management and proof-of-delivery workflow.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting

FMCSA ELD and HOS compliance, DVIR digital inspection records, IFTA fuel tax reporting, and DOT audit documentation. Compliance is tracked continuously — not assembled at audit time.

Fleet Analytics and AI

Driver behaviour scoring, predictive maintenance modelling, fuel cost anomaly detection, route profitability analysis, and SLA performance tracking. Built on your operational data, not platform exports.

Three concerns fleet operators raise.

"We already have Samsara/Geotab for GPS. Do we need to replace it?"

Not necessarily. We can build on top of your existing GPS platform by consuming its data via API. The custom layer handles the complex dispatch logic, compliance reporting, customer portal, and analytics that the platform doesn't support well. Your GPS hardware investment stays. The operational intelligence layer is built around it.

"Our fleet has mixed asset types — trucks, vans, and specialist equipment. Can the system handle that?"

Yes. Mixed fleet types are handled at the data model level — each asset type has its own configuration for compliance requirements, maintenance schedules, load capacity, and telematics data. The dispatch and routing logic applies rules appropriate for the asset assigned to the route. Multi-fleet management is a design choice, not a configuration workaround.

"FMCSA compliance is critical for us — can you build ELD-compliant logging?"

Yes. FMCSA-compliant ELD logging captures the required data fields (driving time, on-duty not driving, sleeper berth, off-duty, yard moves, personal conveyance) in the format required for roadside inspection. The HOS violation logic applies the correct ruleset for each driver type (property, passenger, short-haul exemption). Audit export produces the standard data transfer file format. We build to the current ELD mandate technical standard.

How fleet management engagements work.

Every engagement follows the same structure — with compliance requirements mapped before we write a line of code.

AI Call Center Software for Quality Monitoring

Enterprise client

A contact centre operation was scaling rapidly but had no automated way to monitor agent call quality at volume. Madgeek built custom AI call center software that scored agent calls against domain-specific criteria, surfaced coaching opportunities, and tracked performance trends in real time. The result: the operations team scaled from 50 to 80+ agents in 3 months without adding QA headcount.

Common questions about fleet management software development.

Yes. Integration with McLeod, TMW, MercuryGate, and custom TMS platforms is standard. The fleet management layer consumes load and route data from the TMS, writes back tracking and delivery confirmation, and the two systems share a unified operational view.
A focused vehicle tracking and compliance platform takes 16–24 weeks. A full dispatch automation system with route optimisation, driver portal, and analytics takes 28–40 weeks. Two-week sprints, working software at each milestone.
Yes. ELD hardware from major providers (Omnitracs, PeopleNet, KeepTruckin/Motive) exposes a data API. We connect to the API, map the data to our compliance data model, and build the violation detection and reporting logic on top. If you're evaluating new hardware, we can advise on which providers have the best API quality for custom integration.
Yes. Customer portals showing live shipment status, estimated delivery windows, proof of delivery, and historical shipment records are a standard component. White-label capable — customers see your brand, not Madgeek's.
You do. Full source code, all IP, complete documentation.
